Recertification
Due to current restrictions on training, the National Early Years Children First Programme understand that some Early Learning and Care practitioners have Always Children First Foundation level certificates that are expired or are almost expired. We are working closely with City and County Childcare Committees, Childminding Ireland and CNNG to ensure that those in ELC services who have certs that are out of date are prioritised to attend training once our programme resumes.
In the meantime, we recommend that all practitioners who haven’t completed the Tusla ELearning Programme in the last three years do so in order to refresh knowledge and information. There are many resources available for reference and are listed below. You may also refer to the weekly Info Blasts that have been circulated by trainers over the last number of weeks.
