The Learner Fund, which is currently subsidising thousands of learners who applied in 2014 is now open for online applications.

Learner Fund 3, (re-opened 11/02/16) offers a subsidy towards the cost of training to support existing early years practitioners, who wish to continue working directly with children, to attain the minimum qualification required under the revised Child Care Regulations.

Eligible courses must be completed by 31st December 2016 and result in a full Level 5 Major Award on the NFQ.

Applications should be submitted by service providers on behalf of their staff members, with the staff member’s authorisation.
Learner Fund 3 is re-open for applications until 10th March 2016 (6 p.m.)
