Join us for Shaping Tomorrow Together — a dynamic conference hosted by Sligo, Roscommon, Donegal
and Mayo County Childcare Committees, supporting quality and inclusion through the NSAI framework.
Taking place on 17 October, from 9:30am–4:00pm at Atlantic Technological University Sligo, this
inspiring event will bring together early years professionals committed to strengthening inclusive and
high-quality practice across the sector.
The conference features keynote speakers including Dr Geraldine French (Early Childhood specialist
recently retired as an Associate Professor in the School of Language, Literacy and Early Childhood
Education, the Institute of Education at Dublin City University), Derval Mc Donagh (CEO Inclusion
Ireland), Toby Wolfe (Principal Officer for the regulation of the Early Learning and Care and School age
Childcare sector: Quality Agenda), and Dr Sharon Skehill (Early Years Educator, Researcher and Policy/
Practice Consultant -Updating Aistear, DEI Guidelines; ETB module redevelopment, practitioner
research), alongside engaging workshop opportunities designed to support reflection, collaboration, and
practical learning.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, and participation can contribute towards
services’ Quality and Inclusive Practice Plans 2026–2027.
