DESCRIPTION:Please see details below of an upcoming continuous professional development opportunity:\nAistear Siolta and Practice Guide Introductory Workshop\nThis Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop will be accepted as part of the Core Funding Quality Action Plan under Option 3.\nDate: Thursday 8th December 2022\nTime: 6.30 – 9pm\nVenue: SCCC Offices\nThe workshop gives an overview of the two national early years’ frameworks – Siolta and Aistear and The Aistear-Siolta Practice Guide. Content of the workshop will:\n\nSupport participants to learn about the purpose and structure of Siolta and Aistear, and the connections and links between these two frameworks\nSupport understanding and how to navigate the Aistear Siolta Practice Guide website\nProvide understanding on how content of the frameworks and Aistear Siolta Practice Guide can be linked to our practice when working with young children\nInformation on further supports available in relation to Aistear and Siolta in the early years sector\n\nThis introductory workshop is aimed at practitioners who would like to increase their understanding of and familiarity with Síolta, Aistear and the Practice Guide. Participants will have opportunities to consider how they are currently using Síolta, Aistear and the Practice Guide and how they might begin to explore them further.\nThis workshop is a pre-requisite for the NSAI Aistear and Play CPD (delivered through Better Start Quality Development Service.)\nCertificate of attendance will be available to all participants attending this workshop.\nTo book a place on this CPD workshop email joanmcg@sligochildcare.ie no later than Friday 3rd December \n
